Jürgen Bemfert
The good lubricity of the solid lubricant with all types of bicycles is attested by the results of the field tests. Test cyclist Jürgen Bemfert tried the solid lubrication with his mountain bike with a XT gear shift. For 4,000 km his stainless steel chain has already been lubricated by the new lubricant. “I’m very content with this new lubrication as I don’t have to take much care of my chain. The lubricity is very good as well. The chain runs very quietly and the elongation is marginal” (chain length new: 119.5 mm, after 4,000 km: 120.5 mm). The test cyclist is also convinced by the aesthetic advantages of the solid lubrication: “When you disassemble the bicycle in order to transport it with the car, you don’t soil your hands. Apart from that, dirt doesn’t persistently cling to the chain. When I used to ride through freshly mowed meadows, the grass immediately stuck to the chain. With the solid lubrication this problem exists no longer.“

Jens Crombach
These experiences are also confirmed by test cyclist Jens Crombach: “With the solid lubrication the degree of soiling of the drive system is much lower.”

Jörg Beil
Jörg Beil, who has been testing the solid lubrication on his trekking bike for 9,000 km, sees similar advantages. “The solid lubrication releases precisely the demanded amount of lubricant to the chain. Thus, you don’t soil your clothes as it usually happens when applying too much oil.”

Jonathan Roth
Jonathan Roth mounted the solid lubricant to his cyclocross bike, a mixture of mountain bike and road bike. “The installation was quite easy and only after few meters I had the feeling that I was riding with less friction.” Meanwhile, he has been riding 1,300 km with the new lubrication. “The solid lubricant reduced the noises of the chain, especially when I was shifting gears,” refers the test cyclist. In addition to the positive acoustical effects, Jonathan Roth is impressed by the fact “that you no longer have to lubricate with oil, which uses to cause black oil stains on the ground.”
